Referring Physicians

Thank you for referring your patient to Metabolic Leader.

Our Commitment to You...

Each new referral request is received in our EMR (electronic medical records) where it is triaged and assigned a priority level. Our referral coordinator then enters the patient’s demographic and insurance information into the system. We will contact the patient directly by phone to schedule an appointment, usually within 24 hours of receiving the referral request. Once the patient is scheduled and confirmed, we will notify your office. High priority, urgent referrals are scheduled immediately. Otherwise, our goal is to schedule the appointment within 10 business days. If the patient is not reached on the first attempt, we will continue trying to reach the patient by phone for three consecutive days. If still unable to reach the patient, we will notify your office for further assistance.
